Welcome to DC

Yeah, so besides learning that Marines in DC are odd creatures, I also learned some other helpful information. Here is what just happened to me after getting off at the Ballston metro stop:

So I clearly am in somewhat of a daze, seeing as it is the end of a working Monday, and I guess I was accidentally staring at this woman while walking to my apt. I get three steps away from her, and she yells at me, "Stop staring at me you fucking bitch!!!" Are you kidding me? What is wrong with people these days. The irony was, she was like 1/4 my size. I really could have taken her, but the temptation was resisted. I politely kept walking. I apologize for typing out the full words here, but I really feel that using stars and number signs takes away from the true experience I just had. I promise I will include more uplifting stories eventually. =)
